Our business customers can expect 1GB hyperfast wi-fi throughout the building, this ensures working away from home in a rural environment is reliable. Each bedroom has a 32″ smart TV with streaming services, hospitality tray and an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries.
We can arrange a meeting room with projector and screens, printing facilities and keep you fuelled with a working breakfast, lunch or dinner. Early start? Not a problem we can arrange a breakfast tray in your room and we can support your early check out.
With a large carpark, suitable for large vehicles too, located on the A140.
Group bookings, and corporate enquiries are always very welcome. The Ram has all your business needs covered.

Stay, Relax & Unwind with Us
Our heritage double rooms, one with a classic four-poster bed, have the historic features of the hotel and are located at the front of the hotel. All fitted with secondary double glazing.
Our garden double rooms are placed away from the front and are more modern in design and face over the garden with views of open fields. Our standard double rooms are slightly smaller than our garden doubles and feature eaves – so watch your head!
Families and groups are welcome at The Ram in one of our two multi-level family rooms ideal for longer stays and larger groups.
Room one features two full size singles and a kingsize bed. It is themed to reflect the contribution of the USAAF in the Norfolk airbases during the WWII. Ideal for an older family or friends travelling together.
Room two features a main bedroom and bunk-beds in a secret little space. There is a seating area, board games and table.
A cot can be provided by pre-arrangement, we have a children’s menu and a small library of DVDs, board games and books for guest to use – you’ll even find a comfy chair to sit and read in, in our ‘Hayloft’.
Please note we cannot fit stairgates so maybe unsuitable for very young toddlers.
Enjoy 25% off a Sunday night with our ‘Sit Back Sunday’. Everything is just a bit earlier as we serve roasts until 4pm and our bar menu till 6.30pm. The bar stays open until 8pm so there is still time to enjoy a book or a game of backgammon. Breakfast is included. Only available via our website or by phone.

FOOD AT THE RAM
Sustainability is important to us at The Ram. We use fresh, local produce wherever possible.
Dine and Drink with Us
Our Head Chef ensures we use only the best quality ingredients, using local suppliers and keeping food miles to a minimum wherever possible.
Breakfast & brunch is available every morning for both residents and non-residents. For a special occasion treat yourself with a glass of bucks fizz and our eggs royale or start a busy day well with a hearty English breakfast.
Monday to Friday 7.30am – 11.30am and Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays 8:00am – 11.30am (11 on Sundays)
Our Bar Menu is be served from 12 till 4.30pm on Monday to Saturday. Our Main Menu is served at lunchtime and 5.30-8pm during the week and 5-8.30pm on Friday & Saturday. Our specials menu is frequently changed and features the best local, seasonal ingredients – especially for fish lovers! Round off your meal with one of our tasty desserts or local cheeseboard.
Mondays to Thursdays, and Friday lunch we offer a fixed price menu two and three course menu which changes weekly.
Two courses £19.95 or three courses for £24.95.
Handmade stonebaked pizzas are available every Wednesday from 5.30 to eat in or takeaway.
Our Sunday Roasts are served from noon till 4.30pm every Sunday and our Late Sunday menu from 4 till 6.30pm
Our NEW afternoon teas are available Monday to Saturday between 2pm & 5pm (24 hours notice required)
We have high chairs and a children’s menu available for our younger diners.
Diners can eat in our relaxed restaurant amongst the historic features of the inn. On warmer days, there’s plenty of seating outside on the terrace and dogs (on leads) are welcome in our Coach House, please let us know they’re coming!
To accompany your food, we have a well-stocked bar that includes a regularly changing supply of local real ales as well as a carefully put-together wine list and a selection of Norfolk based gins.

CELEBRATE AT THE RAM
Celebrate Christmas 2024
Our Christmas Party Menu is served from Monday 25th November – for those wanting a to make an early start, through to Monday 23rd December (not including Sundays).
The menu includes coffee and mince pies and you can chose from two courses at £28 or three courses at £34– environmentally crackers included! No minimum numbers but a minimum 48 hours notice with preorder and a £5 per person deposit required We can do a maximum of 40 covers and look out for some party nights with live music.
Celebrate all year round with us
Our Coach House offers the perfect opprtunity to host an event whether that be a wedding, a birthday or a wake. We can accommodate sit down dinners of up to 30 and buffets of up to 100 – more if required. Opening out on to the garden there is the opportunity to make the most of what The Ram has to offer. Being easy to find on the A140 with plenty of parking we make the ideal venue.
Our buffet menu is available Monday to Fridays and by arrangement at the weekend.

The second Sunday of every month at 7pm. Teams of six maximum and £2 per head winning prizes.
Music Nights at The Ram
We have just introduced Folk nights on the first Friday of the month from 7pm.
The last Saturday of every month will showcase some great for music and live acts. With everything from a Northern Soul evening from two local DJs to cool jazz from local duo JazzVibe and fantastic local singers you’ll be spolit for choice. Keep an eye on our Facebook posts for details.

A little further afield but certainly close enough to make a day of it you can find Thetford Forest, the Norfolk Coast and many of the fine historic buildings from castles to stately homes.

We know how important it is that The Ram should be available to all.
Facilities for all
With disabled parking, flat access from the carpark into our bar and restaurant, ramps where needed and a dedicated disabled toilet cubicle, we are able to welcome all guests to the Ram.
We also understand that not all disabilities are visible. So please talk to us when booking so that we can accommodate you accordingly. Maybe a quiet table for those with sensory issues or dementia, a larger print menu or indeed allowing our chefs to carefully present food either cut for you or separated for those where touching food is triggering. We want you to tell us how we can best make your visit to us a comfortable and inclusive visit for everyone in your party.
To be clear all our bedrooms are on the first floor without a lift and all our rooms have an over bath shower – not walk in
